The very first of its kind, a book for the adult gay comix fan. Born of a desperate need to increase cash flow and broaden customer base, it proved to be a surprisingly successful venture. Though we only did three issues, it was one of our most requested titles. (Hey, can you say "San Francisco?") Eventually, though, we felt rather out of our element, a feeling no doubt helped along by the advent and subsequent and still continued success of another book (Gay Comix) edited by actual members of the gay community, certainly more qualified to address the target audience. Judging by repeatedly sold out print runs and reader mail, though, Gay HeartThrobs did make its mark. And first. Currently (and long) out of print, these books are hard to find, but here are a few sample pages from Nos. 2 and 3.
