Sheba was the sweetest pet who was very intellegient!
She was free to come and go thru her pet door and with this freedom
she brought us many gifts, birds, mice, rabbits and that was enough!
She was a well behaved animal who never climbed on the kitchen
table or counters.  She was great company for me during the day and
I loved her more than any of my other animals. When she died from an
unexpected tumor I felt like I lost my best friend until one night in a 
dream I traveled to see Sheba in her new land on the other side. I found
her to be happy and comfortable sunning herself on a fence.  From
that moment on, I felt at peace.  I miss her a lot but I know she's happy.

Here is a little memorial that Nath wrote right after we lost his
beloved Percy Cat who was hit by a car. Nath got Percy for
Christmas when he was 3 years of age and the bond was instant.

All day and all night.
You were my best friend
and liked by others.
One of the best days
was when you climbed 
up the Christmas Tree.
Whenever I am sad,
Or not feeling good,
You made me feel better.
We shall miss you
For all eternity.
