Why register your nickname? To keep others from using it.
(Registering a nickname is optional
and not required.)
Instructions for Registering Your Nickname
(These
steps only need to be done for your first time visit.)
In
the example below I have used red to highlight where you are suppose to type your password
and
blue to highlight
where you are suppose to type your email.
Step 1: Select a name you wish to use and connect into the room with that name.
Step 2: Once you are in the room you will have only one minute to do the following. .
EXAMPLE ONLY: (type this command in the chatroom using YOUR information as instructed below):
/nickserv register smokey smokey@yahoo.com
(The example shows that there are spaces between each word.)
