<PSA> I want to thank Kev (wish he were here) and especially lollymop for setting up and getting the word out for this event.
<PSA> There are a few explanations about the dreamtime sessions that I'll give first, then perhaps we can address some questions, 
<PSA> and do a few interpretations today.
<PSA> First, there are dreams that are recurrent... you have them over and over, with no particular sequence.
<PSA> You always remember recurrent dreams but sometimes you aren't ready for the explanation for many years
<PSA> I lost my little two-year old son long ago, and had recurrent dreams for over 33 yrs of finding him right down the path and 
<PSA> around the corner
<PSA> There he was, sitting and playing with the pebbles in the path . . .
<PSA> The first dream, I was surprised and in the dream I thought, wow here he is!  not gone at all, we just didn't know where to look!
<PSA> And of course the sadness poured in when I awoke.
<PSA> Then a psychic medium told me the dream meant that he would be there to help me cross over when I do, and I haven't had the dream since, though I vividly can see him playing there in the dappled sunshine.
<PSA> We are often comforted in dreams by spirit... we are shown the light and joy and it is like a gift from our soul
<PSA> Especially with the recurrent ones... the light helps...
<PSA> This is one reason I want to help  people with their dreams.
<PSA> There are only a few types of dreams... the ADC dream has to be among the best....one which is special and more a visitation than a sleeptime dream.
<PSA> In our dreamtime sessions, We also share some Native American dream legends from time to time. 
<PSA> We use the lore in interpretation of dreams concerning various animals when it is appropriate. 
<PSA> These may appear as one's totem animals, or power animals, or simply a way to get your attention in the dream, when what is needed in the conscious life may be the qualities or attributes of that animal.
<PSA> Then there are predictive dreams that may not make sense until something from the dream occurs
<PSA> we are given insight in our dreams, but it isn't until our life evolves to that point do we recall the dream,
<PSA> and put it all together, which the interpretations help us do.
<PSA> There are precognitive dreams, not quite the same... that usually are more urgent.. as a warning not to take that flight or that fork in the road.
<PSA> We are told in the dreamtime lore that one type of dream is a "wish" dream and may contain the dreamer's wish for the future... These dreams we don't always believe in, and so we don't trust them, and they cannot become reality, cannot manifest for us without that trust.  Some tribes believe such a dream has "medicine" value if you have NOT shared it with anyone, and then another person comes to tell you they dreamed the same thing for you.
<PSA> When we dream we usually see ourselves as the main character like a play, but when we ARE there... we see around us
<PSA> or we see both ways at once, lol Which is an astral travel to that time in our lives
<PSA> I first learned that astral travel can go anywhere in time, when I was trying so hard to "do it"
<PSA> But I kept just getting up to the corner of my bedroom and couldn't go further
<PSA> Then one morning when I woke up, I was lamenting that, when I realized the bedroom corner I had been in the nite before 
<PSA> was the one where my first husband and I had lived over 30 yrs before.
<PSA> After that, my dreams sometimes took me much further back in time, which many believe are proof of reincarnation, and that can be a generate opposing viewpoints.
<PSA> I'll share this dream: a recurrent dream.... where I always was being chased by wild Indians on horseback... and my horse was out front but I was scared to death,  I remember it was a  pinto, two colored and I knew it wasn't me as a female,
<PSA> lol, not where we were running but on the peaks to our left, there was snow. lol, One nite I ran my horse thru this puddle of water and the droplets splashed on me and woke me up
<PSA> After that I looked for water to ride through... lol,  it became semi-lucid because I knew I had to find water
<PSA> Then one day I was telling daddy, and he said, honey, they weren't chasing you... they were following... you were leading them, and after that, I never dreamed it again.
<PSA> What exactly is a lucid dream? Well, compare it to a regular dream. A regular dream you don’t have a whole lot of control over. It happens to you. A lucid dream you consciously decide to do something in your dream. You have control.
<PSA> My friend Pauline of TalkingWithspirit.com says, "I recommend Stephen LaBerge's book, "Lucid Dreaming". You'll start having lucid dreams even before you've finished reading it."
<PSA> The wheel is a well known explanation of reincarnation... one we get on and off of many times... 
<PSA> But picture it as rotating horizontally.. not vertically as the ferris wheel
<PSA> Above the center of the wheel... going upward is  mid-heaven
<PSA> And above that is heaven and the highest spirits of all
<PSA> Beneath is sub world, a space where people attached to their last life's possessions are lingering to oversee them
<PSA> And below that is the netherland that lost souls go to
<PSA> When you decide not to reincarnate you can go up or down...
<PSA> This is not my explanation, but one used by reincarnationists.
<PSA> The native legends mention another dream type we have as "gives away nothing"
<PSA> Those are the little stress relieving dreams of odds and ends of info that we accumulate in our minds
<PSA> Little snippets of conversation going nowhere
<PSA> Little scenes from a tv or a  magazine
<PSA> Little distractions and aggravations, sometimes violent news we refuse to listen to, or try not to.
<PSA> Bits and pieces of glimpses we have retained from tv, magazines, and daily life, jumbled together, with thoughts and phrases we have heard or read...
<PSA> Such dreams are just the  minds stress-disposal system... the garbage disposal function of our brain
<PSA> Not a meaningful dream at all, in other words. ... and we can usually recognize them as such because usually such dreams do NOT "make sense" ...........
<PSA> lol, we may not even recall them, and we don't need to.
<PSA> Yet, many of us do have trouble RECALLING DREAMS so here are a few ideas to try:
<PSA> Talk to yourself as you are dozing off... ask to remember your dreams
<PSA> Ask your guides to help you solve your problems in your dream and that you remember it
<PSA> Have a notepad near the bed to write them down when you awaken, or get a voice activated recorder and just start giving the dream as you remember it, without even opening your eyes. 
<PSA> It is important that when you do wake up that you lie still a few moments, keep your eyes closed, and think about the dream.  Be sure not to flounce around, kicking the cover off, or stretching and waving your arms around, because you energy goes to the motions you're making instead of helping you to concentrate on the dream.  Especially, try to remember the exact words in any portion of the dream whether you were speaking them or hearing t
<PSA> cynthia Richmond, Author of "Dream Power" suggests setting a dream recall trigger for yourself by choosing a fragrance, perhaps a sachet would work, breathe it in and ask yourself what question you want answered in your dream, and that you will remember it when awake.
<PSA>  Then sniff the same fragrance on awakening to help recall the dream.  I've not tried this, but it may be the answer for some people.
<PSA> In my dreamtime sessions I will do an interpretation.. one dreamer at a time... and then ask for input
<PSA> That is the roundtable discussion segment and all may join in if it concerns the dream being discussed
<PSA> Of course.....
<PSA> this is to offer the dreamer many perspectives on the dream, however, as ALWAYS.. the dreamer has to decide what chimes with them.

<PSA> I imagine the disappointment felt very real at that  point
<lace> but the dream felt so wonderful in the beging

<PSA> The dream signifies that you are beginning to open spiritually and finding that astral ability to escape the cares of the world.
<PSA> we dream of flying in much the same way, to escape what is holding us captive in our lives, be it bills, relationships, illness, or career problems
<lace> yes i feel that is so
<PSA> but somewhere inside our subconscious we also have those seeds of mistrust and doubt which are always present to "drag" us back to earth.
<PSA> welcome those dreams for the mini-vacations they afford us.
<PSA> similar to the rest we get when meditating.
<PSA> and a welcome break which is sometimes just what we need to open new perspectives on those problems.

<chinook> Hello and thank you PSA & Lollymop.  As you know PSA ,my daughter Melissa , had a dream approx one week before the car accident which took her life. She wrote about her dream ,as she recalled it , and it was the ONLY dream she had ever written about. I feel that my daughters dream was a GIFT left for me so,  that I would know  she  would be alright.

<PSA> I believe that was not the grim reaper, but a call to you to consider dreams as messages
<chinook> and then in robe...well I didn't quite know how to interpetate this
<PSA> This was an awareness visit so that when you did find the dream your daughter left, you would accept it as the gift it is for you.
<chinook> I have never ever had anything appear before me such as this
<PSA> The faceless  part just means that you were not yet receiving the message, but spirit wanted your attention on dreamtime.

<PSA> we know now what happened later, but we can't take that in the context of the dream which is the part we interpret with spiritual guidance.
<chinook> something was definately there at the foot of my bed...and I felt as though I was definately awake
<PSA> So I'm seeing the significance being that there is spiritual guidance available for you in dreams.
<PSA> The intensity is to keep it in the "present" for you.
<PSA> so as not to disregard it.

<lollymop> could you explain this to us PSA and why that is
<PSA> sometimes people who do not remember even dreaming are on medications that prevent them doing so
<PSA> others have at some point asked their angels, guides, highest Being to stop their dreams
<PSA> to not let them remember
<PSA> this is what my Leoprechaun had done at the tender age he was following his Dad's death
<PSA> he had such nightmares of being alone that he begged prayerfully to not ever dream again.
<PSA> This meant he just didn't remember those dreams.
<PSA> See, spirit takes our requests seriously.
<lollymop> could someone ask not to remember their dreams without being conscience of even asking
<PSA> After we discussed this with FeatherWind, and she did a reading for him in messenger one night, he began dreaming again.
<PSA> the first morning he started to relate his "first dream" tears literally rolled down his face.

<PSA> others are restless sleepers... and this is another reason for not recalling dreams, because they never reached the REM stage of sleep where dreams occur.

<lollymop> i have a friend who is terrified of snakes and she jumps up and down in place when she sees one.. could this be something from a dream she doesnt remember?
<PSA> It may take awhile to train yourself to trust that ability, but if you are sincere, it will come.
