<ShellyCormier> it is a very self-empowering tool that can completely turn one's life around 
<ShellyCormier> the change can virtually happen extraordinarily quickly
<ShellyCormier> First I will explain about what the Law is..how it works..and finally..how to apply it in your life
<ShellyCormier> There are several Universal Laws at play
<ShellyCormier> one, for instance, is the Law of Gravity
<ShellyCormier> we all know that if we jump from a tall building...we are going to hit the ground
<ShellyCormier> it doesn't matter if we are a good person or not..the Law applies
<ShellyCormier> it doesn't matter if we WANT it or not...the Law applies
<ShellyCormier> the same with the Law of Attraction....
<ShellyCormier> We are energy...the SAME energy as the rocks..the stars..the ocean..the trees..etc
<ShellyCormier> we are just all vibrating at different speeds thus producing a different expression of that energy
<ShellyCormier> given energy cannot be created or destroyed
<ShellyCormier> the only thing that can occur...is that it is transformed
<ShellyCormier> the Law of Attraction allows each and every one of us to transform energy into what we DO want
<ShellyCormier> it is the basic fundamental law that applies to each and every one of us...
<ShellyCormier> whether we are aware of it or not..we are Attracting
<ShellyCormier> the Law is always at work
<ShellyCormier> this explains why we seem to receive the same 'stuff' over and over
<ShellyCormier> if we are fortunate..we are receiving the 'good' stuff

<ShellyCormier> our thoughts and feelings are an energy as well and this vibration is felt by the Universe
<ShellyCormier> and the Universe feels it and responds IN KIND
<ShellyCormier> so if we are thinking/feeling down and blue and in despair
<ShellyCormier> the Universe feels that and believes that is what we are wanting...and actually gives us MORE of it
<ShellyCormier> so it is important we get clear in our lives and understand and determine what it is we DO want
<ShellyCormier> and focus on THAT instead of all the negative things
<ShellyCormier> Our thoughts are occuring at quicksilver speed so they are difficult to monitor at any given moment
<ShellyCormier> our emotions will tell us what is going on inside our minds
<ShellyCormier> often we have thoughts we are unaware of...because we have thought them so often that they tend to bypass conscious thought and kick right into the emotional response
<ShellyCormier> so check in with yourself to see if you are 'feeling good'..'happy' etc...
<ShellyCormier> if you are feeling good and happy...then know you are in alignment for what you DO want
<ShellyCormier> the key here is to understand that the Universe places no judgment on our vibration
<ShellyCormier> it doesn't care if we want something or not...it will ALWAYS respond to what we are feeling
<ShellyCormier> as in the movie The Secret...the Universe is like the genie in Aladdin's lamp...it only says ONE thing to us
<ShellyCormier> and thing is...Your Wish Is My Command
<ShellyCormier> it will ALWAYS send us a perfect match to our feelings...WITHOUT EXCEPTION
<ShellyCormier> this is a Law
<ShellyCormier> Kind of makes you realize there is more power to the old adage "Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it"

<ShellyCormier> The first step in applying the Law of Attraction...
<ShellyCormier> is to ASK for what you want
<ShellyCormier> and for this you need to spend some time getting clear on what it is you do want...too often we know very quickly what it is we DON'T want so it is time to shift that perspective
<ShellyCormier> The Universe does not hear WORDS
<ShellyCormier> so no amount of pleading and begging is going to give you the response you want
<ShellyCormier> if you think about it...if we plead and beg for something...the emotional equivalent to that is desperation...
<ShellyCormier> what do you suppose the Universe will send you??
<ShellyCormier> MORE DESPERATION!
<ShellyCormier> not something I would think anyone would truly want :)
<ShellyCormier> so generate a feeling of joy and excitement when releasing your desires to the Universe
<ShellyCormier> and maintain it!!!
<ShellyCormier> the BIGGEST vibration of all...is gratitude!!!
<ShellyCormier> be GRATEFUL for all the blessings in your life
<ShellyCormier> and do not dwell on what you DON'T have
<ShellyCormier> maintain that feeling of gratitude at all times...
<ShellyCormier> if you feel you are having trouble doing that and you find doubt and despair has crept in
<ShellyCormier> then think of something HAPPY..something that puts a smile on your face...
<ShellyCormier> and think of nothing else until you feel that feeling is maintained
<ShellyCormier> the Universe will not care if what you are happy about in that moment is the same happiness you feel when you focus on your desire
<ShellyCormier> it makes no distinction....if YOU feel good...for whatever reason...the Universe responds
<ShellyCormier> every time
<ShellyCormier> no exception
<ShellyCormier> So step one in applying the Law of Attraction is to ASK...by vibration..not words
<ShellyCormier> the second step...and this is the easy one :))
<ShellyCormier> is the ANSWER
<ShellyCormier> which is not your domain at all
<ShellyCormier> it is strictly the domain of the Universe
<ShellyCormier> it always answers...in kind..no exception
<ShellyCormier> what you feel and what manifests in your life are ALWAYS a match
<ShellyCormier> and finally step three...
<ShellyCormier> is to align yourself with what it is you desire
<ShellyCormier> and that is to generate the feelings of gratitude..joy..excitement
<ShellyCormier> when you feel those positive vibes...KNOW that you are truly in alignment and the Universe WILL respond...it's the Law
<ShellyCormier> Focus on what it is you desire..FEEL it...and feel it as if you already have it..because in essence you do...
<ShellyCormier> when you focus on feeling like you already have it...focus ONLY on having it
<ShellyCormier> not HOW it will come to you!!
<ShellyCormier> that is the domain of the Universe to make it happen
<ShellyCormier> if you really think about it...there are people who have achieved great things on this earth that didn't have a CLUE as to HOW they would do it
<ShellyCormier> but they did it...
<ShellyCormier> because they remained open to how the Universe can and does provide for us
<ShellyCormier> if we focus on the HOW we tend to tunnel vision ourselves into seeing something happening ONE WAY...which is always OUR WAY
<ShellyCormier> and then we are disappointed when it doesn't happen
<ShellyCormier> it is because we put blinders on and we do not see the many avenues that the Universe opens up for us
<ShellyCormier> and UNLIMITED amount of avenues actually :)
<ShellyCormier> It really is a magical way to live when it comes right down to it :)
<ShellyCormier> Just as an example...the first time I consciously applied the Law of Attraction..I started with something very simple
<ShellyCormier> to me, however, it seemed rather daunting that it could be fulfilled
<ShellyCormier> I asked for a BLUE FEATHER to find me one particular day
<ShellyCormier> Considering I work in an office...I was a little unsure how a blue feather would find its way to me lol
<ShellyCormier> however, I remained steadfast that HOW was the domain of the Universe..and I wasn't going to think about that
<ShellyCormier> instead I got excited...and I was on the lookout..waiting for my blue feather to arrive
<ShellyCormier> at one point in the day I was frantically trying to meet deadlines and reached for a paper clip in the dispenser on my desk
<ShellyCormier> it was empty
<ShellyCormier> so while reading documents, I opened my desk drawer, groped around for a box of paper clips
<ShellyCormier> and without really looking...felt the box in my hand and put it in front of me....
<ShellyCormier> I was fumbling around trying to open the darn thing and continue reading the documents at the same time when finally I gave up and looked at the box to give it my full attention
<ShellyCormier> and I froze
<ShellyCormier> I couldn't believe my eyes

<ShellyCormier> you can start with something as small as wanting to attract a cup of coffee one day
<ShellyCormier> just get excited about that cup of coffee
<ShellyCormier> and be grateful

<ShellyCormier> and I have no doubt that it will appear

<ShellyCormier> just don't focus on the HOW it will come
<ShellyCormier> While all of this seems rather challenging...I would like to remind everyone that if your creations aren't to your liking thus far...you CAN change it all..by redirecting your thoughts and feelings.  You are most definitely worth it!

<ShellyCormier> keep doing that...but get EXCITED about the prospect
<ShellyCormier> don't look at houses online and think to yourself "Oh great..that's too expensive..what am I going to do!!!"
<ShellyCormier> that is counter productive
<ShellyCormier> if need be...get out in your own community and tour houses for sale..the ones that you would even consider buying
<ShellyCormier> get in them..get the feel for them
<ShellyCormier> and get EXCITED about them

<ShellyCormier> this will help generate the feeling
<ShellyCormier> helena....you are getting emails...you have a ballpark
<ShellyCormier> but you are NOT generating the FEELINGS that will help you get what you desire

<ShellyCormier> you are looking at it from a perspective of "What am I going to do!!??"
<ShellyCormier> which is desperation and fear
