These two photos are from my first attempt to pose a model under studio lighting. We spent two hours taking pictures, with these being two of my favorite ones that are tame enough to put on Geocities. I lit them with a monolight fired into a small umbrella on the camera left, for fairly dramatic side lighting. My little battery powered Sunpak 383 was bounced into a larger umbrella on camera right to provide fill.
Alissa was wonderful to work with. I really enjoyed this photo shoot, and I look forward to practicing long and hard over many future sessions to refine my technique.
