This picture was taken from just outside the sliding door. It shows the back of the driver's seat, the galley tables stowed behind the driver's seat, and the refrigerator. Above the refrigerator is one of two sets of 120V AC outlets (the other is in the back of the van). The AC outlets only work when the van is plugged in to shore power.

Two modifications which I made to the van are visible. I attached a clip for a whisk broom at the front edge of the galley, just behind the galley tables. The broom clip is a small shackle from a sailboat store. The white wastebasket behind the driver's seat is held in place with a strap of nylon webbing which I attached to the factory-installed nylon webbing that holds the galley tables in place. This allows me to pull high-g turns without fear of spilling the wastbasket contents. I installed a quick-release buckle to allow for easy removal of the wastebasket.

EuroVan owners who are extremely observant may notice one other subtle modification. The refrigerator came from the factory with the door installed so that it hinges at the aft (left of this picture), and opens from the fore (right) side. I swapped the hinge and latch around, so that it now hinges on the fore (right) side. This allows for slightly easier access when cooking. It's a little thing, but little things like this become very important when quarters are tight.
