Some general ways you can distribute ads: Grocery stores: At the magazine rack, slip some into the appropriate magazines, or just leave one propped up against the rack. Pin one up on the bulletin board outside the store. Slide one into the tortilla rack. Leave one in the shopping cart before you drive away. If women's self-defense is the issue, slip one into "Elle" or "Ladies Home Journal". Coffee shops: Leave one on the table as you leave. Tucked inside a newspaper or magazine on the "free" rack. Leave one in the restroom. Colleges: Left on the table at college libraries, folded inside "gun control" books, or books about the constitution. On bulletin boards, in phone booths, on the table in the cafeteria. Phone booths: tape some up in public phone booths. Something for people to read while they dial. Public transportation: Leave one on the seat as you get up for your stop. Health clubs: Leave one on the bench in the locker room, taped to a wall, or on a bulletin board. Public Libraries: Fold some up and tuck them into books about "gun control". Leave one laying on one of the stools in an aisle. Leave one with the rack of "free" literature near the door. Gun stores: Ask the owner if you can leave a stack next to the register. Run off dozens or hundreds of black and white copies at the copy shop for just a few dollars. Leave a different theme each weak or month. Pass them out at the range, up and down the firing line. Mail some to the press: Mail one to local newspaper reporters. Get the e-mail address for reporters and editors from the paper's website. You can E-mail educational articles, fact sheets. Mail one to a local radio station or local access cable TV station. Mail some to politicians: Mail one to local Board members, County Supervisors. Mail some to state representatives and senators. Mail one to Federal Senators and Representatives
Have a favorite gun issue? One that's in the news lately? An election? Election coming up? Another anti-gun law up for a vote? Use these same techniques to educate the public about your particular targeted anti-gun politician or issue. Send an e-mail to The Arsenal and we can help you make up your own "fighting poster" to paste up all over town in the weeks preceding election day. Women's self-defense issues: Leave one or several on the tables in college libraries, taped to the classroom door of "women's studies" classes, slipped inside women's magazines at beauty salons or grocery stores. Left or taped in the women's locker room at Health Clubs, taped next to the mirror in rest rooms, (or in the stalls!?) (No, if your a guy you can't do this!) Left with the tip at restaurants.
