Gun control hurts women: Facts: Gun Control hurts women. Department of Justice statistics show that when a woman uses a gun to defend herself against rape, the rapist loses 97% of the time. Studies have shown that when attacked, resisting with a gun is the safest course of action to take. You are much less likely to be killed or injured when resisting with a gun, even safer than not resisting at all. But of course we all knew that. Crooks don't want to be shot. Why have so many Americans forgotten that? Yet most "feminists" take an anti-gun stance. Don't they care if women are raped? A woman arming herself is the ultimate "feminist" empowerment.
