The inaugural Feather River Golf Trip took place in July of 1995 and
included only Bill Parry,
one of his sons and one son-in-law. They ate well, played golf poorly at some decent
and scenic
courses, relaxed and generally enjoyed themselves enough to keep them coming back each
year to
Graeagle, California. The trip has grown to
include a minimum of four golf courses over four days
and up to 12 friends and family members. The amount of golf can be, at times,
obscene and
exhausting. The food is typically outstanding. A lot is packed into four days,
but we're
continuously trying to balance the golf and relaxation times. Thus far, we haven't
been successful, and the relaxing generally happens when we get back home.
Reservations for the trip are generally done at the end of prior year, so expect the new
