Two year and a half years after Nate's transplant and the picture that follows, we welcome home Clark James Parry. The Parry boys, from back to front, are Nate, Ryan and Clark.

Nate is two months transplant when he first meets his brother, Ryan, in August of 2000.
Nathaniel William Parry was born on February 21, 1999. At the age of eight months, just before his first Halloween, Nate was diagnosed with a form of leukemia which is rare among children, acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). He had been doing very well following five months of chemotherapy. He had achieved remission, had been feeling great and had developed a vibrant and curious personality. On Thursday the 18th of May, 2000, Nate's oncologist phoned and informed us that his leukemia had relapsed, and that we had to undergo a transplant as soon as possible. Within a couple of days we were flying to North Carolina so that Nathaniel could receive an umbilical cord blood transplant. After a long and full summer, we returned home in September, having added our second son, Ryan, to our ensemble. The following two years have, at least medically, been comparatively less eventful. Nate passed his two year studies with flying colors and, God willing, is on his way to a normal childhood. On October 29, 2002, Nate's newest brother, Clark James was born.
We now maintain this site for all of our friends and family who have been so supportive during these trying times, for you who are inclined to stay abreast of Nathaniel's battle against leukemia. Check out Nate's current journal for the latest news, the photo album for recent pictures of Nate and newly arrived Ryan Phillip Parry and Nate's Song Page for the great song created by the Songs of Love Foundation especially for Nathaniel. Please contact us via email with any comments. And please keep praying for our little boy.
Thanks for visiting.
