Western Lights will be help Winco’s celebrate the opening of their brand new store in Pittsburg, CA on Sunday October 28. All you lucky Winco employees come on out for this special event!

Western Lights has been a performing band in the Sacramento area for 12 plus years. Their music has strong roots in traditional bluegrass and gospel music featuring three and four part harmony vocals and banjo, fiddle, mandolin and guitar as primary lead instrumentation. Beyond bluegrass the band also enjoys diversity in their music performing Western Swing and other related music styles. Their CD, “Favorites of Ours” released in 2000 has received many favorable reviews.

In addition the band is just finishing a very exciting new CD expected to be released in late 2007. As good as “Favorites of Ours is, the band thinks this new CD is ever better with some special surprise guests and some originals written by the band.
